The CE mode replicates the bright, bell-like tones of the CE-1 preamp, with the Gain knob offering a range from mild to aggressive saturation. The RE mode reproduces the unique color and warmth of the RE-201 preamp circuitry, adding fatness and analogue compression characteristics as you turn up the Gain. The NAT mode delivers a punchy, natural voice with minimal coloration, making it perfect for standard clean boost applications.

The BP-1W features two selectable buffer circuitry types. The standard buffer ensures a pure signal when bypassed, while the vintage buffer provides a warmer tone and smooth dynamic response, with maximum benefits when using a guitar with passive pickups.
