If you thought you didn't need a new digital delay pedal, you haven't seen the Boss DD-8.  All new for 2019, this pedal is the most feature rich Boss Compact delay pedal ever created.  With eleven delay modes, your sonic pallette has just been expanded into new territory.  With a massive 10 seconds of delay time available, an onboard looper with 40 seconds of record time and unlimited overdub, mono & stereo functionality, and support for a range of footswitches and expression pedals, the Boss DD-8 has taken the delay effect to an all new pinnacle.

The Boss DD-8 expands on the iconic DD-7 delay pedal by giving you more of what you need.  There's great new delay types that cover more tonal territory - clean digital delays, warm and warbling analog and tape delays, modulation echoes and unique effects such as shimmer and reverse echo.  The DD-8 will be the only delay tool you'll need in your arsenal.

Adding additional footswitch and expression control takes your creativity to the next level, both for use with delay and the looper.  Smart input jacks allow a variety of combinations for connection, including wet/dry setups.

• Analog—Classic analog BBD delay sound.

• Tape—Vintage tape-based delay sound.
• Warm—Digital delay with a softer sound.
• Reverse—Backwards delay for cool psychedelic effects and other unique tones.
• +RV—Digital delay with reverb added.
• Shimmer—Pitch-shifted delay for lush, shimmering textures.
• Mod—Digital delay with modulation added on the repeats.
• Warp—Unique delay with expressive pedal control. Holding the pedal switch increases feedback and level, allowing you to create ambient swell effects.
• GLT—Newly developed delay mode that creates glitchy machine-gun effects when the pedal switch is pressed. Adjust the Feedback and Time knobs for a wide variety of sounds.
• Loop—Loop recorder with overdub capability and up to 40 seconds of recording time with mono input (20 seconds with stereo input).
