The Electro-Harmonix MIG-50 50W Tube Amp Head is a faithful reissue of the renowned 1990's Sovtek MIG-50, which had a well-earned reputation for producing 50 watts of rich, tweed Fender-Bassman-esque tone, sprinkled with sweet harmonics. The Electro-Harmonix MIG-50 delivers on the Sovtek original's promise of tasty tone, and even cranks it up a notch, adding modern enhancements selected by EH to make the MIG-50 bulletproof.

Just like the original, the MIG-50 features a three-band EQ, presence control, and two channels, each with an independent volume control; Channel One is the normal/clean channel, and Channel Two is the bright/high gain channel. With plenty of headroom, the MIG-50 pairs up incredibly well with pedals, especially Electro-Harmonix pedals - try it with the Electro-Harmonix Soul Food for a glassy/throaty overdrive, or the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff for classic doom/stoner metal tones. Hand-assembled by the Electro-Harmonix NYC factory, from the highest quality components, not only does the MIG-50 deliver first-rate tone, but first-rate build quality too.
