The Faith Legacy Series Mahogany Mars Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar with Pickup & Hard Case sets a new bar for professional excellence. Its design is based on Patrick James Eggle's historic 'Kanuga' model, which is a classic drop-shoulder dreadnought. The dreadnought is a classic workhorse design, and the Mars is no exception - tonally, this instrument is a versatile all-rounder, with a well-distributed EQ that fits nicely into the mix, and cannon-like projection that lets you cut through when required. Crafted from Solid Sitka Spruce and African Mahogany, the Mars' top is torrefied, which is a process of air drying, roasting, and rehydration that results in more stable timber, and a richer, more mellow and mature tone, as if the tonewood had been aged by around 20 years.

The guitar is finished with Nickel hardware and a beautifully grained Ebony pickguard, as well as solid Figured Ebony fingerboard and bridge, Solid Flame Maple binding, and bone nut, saddle and bridge pins. Electronics are courtesy of Fishman’s Flex-Blend system which incorporates an undersaddle piezo with a condenser mic.
