The Fender American Performer Stratocaster HSS RW, finished in Aubergine, commands the stage with that timeless Fender tone and playability. Expanding and improving upon the American Special Series, with a range of new models, materials, and enhancements, the American Performer Series will inspire you to Plug in and Play. 

Direct from California, the Fender American Performer Stratocaster HSS sings, with two Yosemite single-coils and a DoubleTap humbucking bridge pickup, producing all the richness, clarity and expression that you expect from an authentic Fender. Ideal for all genres and players, the dynamic tonal qualities of Yosemite pickups are produced by a combination of increased output, via flat-staggered pole pieces, and feedback control, via a shellac coating which lets the coil breathe. The wax potted DoubleTap humbucker's patent-applied-for design provides equal volume and clarity in both its single-coil and humbucking voices. The DoubleTap is operated by a push-pull tone control, connected to the Greasebucket tone circuit. A "Modern C"-shaped neck and 9.5" radius fingerboard are the perfect combination for comfort and playability, with bending made effortless and accurate with 22 jumbo frets.

The Fender American Performer Series also features models not available in the Fender American Special Series, such as the Fender American Performer Telecaster with Humbucking Pickup, Fender American Performer Mustang, and the Fender American Performer Jazzmaster. All Fender American Performer Series guitars and basses include a deluxe gig bag.
