The Fender American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster RW, finished in Olympic White, is part of the American Vintage II series. Much like its predecessor, the American Vintage series, the American Vintage II series revives some of the most revolutionary designs in the history of the electric guitar. Built with uncompromising detail and impeccable craftsmanship, this series features period-accurate bodies, necks and hardware, as well as some incredible finishes, and painstakingly voiced year-specific pickups. Each instrument captures the spirit of its namesake, and is a testament to authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone.

The early '60s saw the refinement of the Strat's image - with new finishes introduced, and old finishes refreshed, and a 3-ply pickguard to complement its curvy body. Though Fender's product range (and popularity) had expended dramatically, and included a huge range of innovative new instruments, the Strat continued to reign supreme. This faithful tribute features three Pure Vintage '61 Single-Coil Strat pickups, a period-accurate premium Alder body, an eminently comfortable period-accurate 1961 "C"-profile Maple neck, and Slab Rosewood fingerboard with 21 Vintage Tall frets. Other period-accurate features abound, like a Pure Vintage synchronised tremolo, Pure Vintage single-line Fender Deluxe machine heads, and a 3-ply mint green pickguard. An understated yet eye-catching Olympic White Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish completes the vintage aesthetic, while a vintage-style brown hard case with orange interior keeps your instrument protected in style.
