Since its introduction in 1942, the iconic J-45 acoustic guitar has become the pinnacle of round-shoulder dreadnoughts. Long-considered the ultimate workhorse, the J-45 is renowned for its warm bass, huge projection, and full, balanced expression. The Gibson J45 Standard 2019, finished in Vintage Sunburst, carries on this tradition, with Mahogany back & sides and a Sitka Spruce top providing an incredible dynamic range, warm tone, and tight, punchy bass with excellent projection. 

This warm, naturally resonant tone is paired perfectly with the onboard LR Baggs VTC soundhole pickup. Tucked discretely within the soundhole, this pickup is designed to provide the same dynamics as a guitar mic'ed up in a studio. The VTC has simple volume and tone controls, and phase inversion, for feedback control, making this an ideal set-up for singer-songwriters.
