The Hagstrom Justin York Super Viking Semi-Hollow Guitar, finished in Trans Brown, is the result of a collaboration between Hagstrom's design gurus and Justin York, of Paramore fame. This semi-hollow, with a vintage vibe and modern appointments, was purpose-designed to be one of the most tonally diverse guitars possible. The Trans Brown-finished Maple body, Ultra-Thin Maple neck, and witch-hat knobs gives this Super Viking a classic 60's vibe, while the Super Viking’s 25.5” (648mm) scale length adds some extra snap and articulation to each note.

A Hagstrom Custom 58 humbucking pickup in the bridge position provides classic rock tones, while Hagstrom's “P-Uri fied” P90 humbucker-sized neck pickup provides that classic warm, round sound; tonal magic happens when this pickup interacts with Hagstrom's custom tone control, creating astonishingly clear and pristine single-coil clarity. Individual coil-split is available for the Custom 58 via the push/pull tone control, providing an even more expansive sonic palette. A Resinator Wood fingerboard provides comfortable playability for hours on end - Resinator Wood is a wood composite that has a stable, clear and articulate tone similar to Ebony. Hagstrom's H-Expander truss rod runs the full length of the neck, providing plenty of stability, and adding a round attack and even greater sustain.
