The Horizon Devices Precision Drive is not a standard overdrive pedal - it was created and designed by a team of guitarists, including Prog Metal legend Misha Mansoor, with the modern metal musician in mind. This easy to use overdrive sounds great on any setting, and handles any set-up, both digital and tube amps, and is perfect for precision carving your tone.

The Precision Drive has simple, easy to use controls, that make it easy to dial in your flavour of modern tones. The volume control is designed to have around twice as much headroom as a standard overdrive (6 on the Precision drive is around 10 on a Tubescreamer). The Attack knob goes from a lower-mids punch when turned to left, up to a pick-y defined modern tone at the right. The Bright knob controls the brightness of your tone, and the Drive has plenty of saturation. The Precision Drive even has a built-in Noise Gate, so your overdrive pedal will no longer be the noisiest part of your signal chain! Turn the gate left for a very loose and subtle gate, or turn right to head towards a mega-tight modern gate.
