A 5 piece Jatoba/Walnut neck and Panga Panga fingerboard are incredibly sturdy, and makes the SRMS805's neck even more comfortable to play. 

The poplar burl top is certainly head-turning, with its Tropical Seafloor finish accentuating the natural figuring, swirls, and dark pockets of this tone wood. When combined with an Okoume body, these tone woods give the SRMS805 a warm, responsive tone, with plenty of resonance. The new MR5S Monorail bridge is securely locked down to the body, and allows wider intonation adjustment and maximum vibration transfer without interference. The string spacing of the Monorail bridge can be easily adjusted to 16.5mm +/-1.5mm, in order to accommodate your playing style. A pair of passive Bartolini BH2 pickups, combined with Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-Band EQ, EQ bypass switch, and 3-way mid frequency switch make for a tonally versatile bass, perfect for everything from laid-back clean licks to rumbling metal riffs.
