The Meinl Headliner Series Cajons are mid-range instruments for percussionists on a budget - a quality product without a lot of bells and whistles. Meinl offers these instruments in several different frontplate/resonating body wood varieties and combinations. Cajons are perfect for Flamenco music, and also serve well as substitutions for a drum set at acoustic gigs (not to mention a heck of a lot easier to cart around!).

The top corners of the frontplate are adjustable to give you as much 'slap' as you want from those playing areas, and strings along the interior of the frontplate provide a characteristic sizzle effect, which is also adjustable to your tastes. The anti-slip sitting surface will keep you from falling off of your instrument - quite embarrassing - and an allen wrench is included so you can make all of those important adjustments.
