The RG31 lap steel guitar features an Alnico P-90 single coil pickup to amplify its sound. It allows for a bright, sparkling tone that combines nicely with the richness and warmth of the mahogany body. Furthermore, it features a string-through-body construction for a more direct sound, as well as enhanced sustain - meaning the notes you play will keep on ringing for a good while. The Recording King RG31 also features a volume knob and a tone knob that allow you to quickly and easily adjust the sound to your liking.
