The Roland VAD504 V-Drums Acoustic Design electronic drum kit features the convenience, control, and customisability of electronic kits, with the feel and presence of a full-size acoustic drum set. To give you maximum stability, both in the studio and on-stage, the four-piece VAD504’s full-sized wooden shells are mounted on double-braced hardware. Thanks to Roland's advanced digital sensor technology, and the TD-27 drum module, the VAD504's sound and responsive playability match its acoustic aesthetics - every roll, stroke, swell, ghost note and rim shot can be heard, and felt, in incredible detail.

Building on the previous VAD503 model, the VAD504 adds a digital hi-hat, on top of the existing digital snare and ride, for even greater expression, plus heavy-duty hardware and stands inherited from the flagship VAD706. The TD-27 module Ver.2.0 adds an array of enhancements over the previous generation. Owners will get ten new powerful kits and three reworked kits that refine existing favourites. Preloaded user samples can also be found within the new kits. Enhanced transient function makes it possible to create higher quality kits. Plus, support for Master Compression, menu improvements, new thin V-Cymbal trigger types, and Roland Cloud Kit Contents support round out the new developments.
