Rare Spruce shells deliver rich tones with plenty of acoustic resonance

Taking inspiration from their popular S.L.P Snare drum series, the Tama SLP 22" 3 Piece Fat Spruce shell pack feature a stunning turquoise lacquer finish on the outer ply with die-cast hoops and polished chrome hardware. Rarely used as a material on complete drum sets, the 100% spruce shells offer a brilliantly resonant, fat, rich sound with solid mid-frequencies and a natural, pure tone. Furthermore, by utilising die-cast hoops, it provides a very clear, focused attack.

It also has a very wide tuning range, making it suitable for a number of music styles. The drums sound great tuned up high for jazz, but also perform well at low to medium tension, optimal for R&B, Blues, Indie Rock and Ballads.
