The Yamaha FS-TA TransAcoustic guitar, in Vintage Tint, is an innovative acoustic guitar, which features reverb and chorus built into the guitar, which can be used without an amplifier or effects pedals. These effects are created using an actuator, which is installed on the inner surface of the TransAcoustic's back. This actuator vibrates in response to the TransAcoustic's string vibrations, and this is then transferred to the guitar's body, and the air in and around the body, creating authentic chorus and reverb from inside the guitar. The level of these effects, as well as the line out volume, are controlled by three control knobs. 

Not only is the TransAcoustic an innovative design, but it also features a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and scalloped bracing. This means you get a louder, richer acoustic tone, from a concert-sized body, whether or not you are plugged into an external amplifier.
